The Summer School on Minority Rights 2024 is an educational initiative aimed at raising awareness and knowledge about minority rights among national, ethnic, and linguistic communities in the Republic of Moldova, as well as increasing their level of civic engagement and participation in decision-making processes. We offer a series of lectures, seminars, and practical exercises conducted by human rights experts to promote tolerance, understanding, and social integration. Participants will also have the opportunity to personally meet and interact with representatives of state authorities, diplomatic missions, and international organizations in the Republic of Moldova. At the end of the project, participants will be eligible for a financial grant of 10,000 lei to finance their own initiatives aimed at promoting peace, tolerance, civic activism, and democracy in their communities.
Date: July 29 - August 2, 2024 Location: Tourist Complex "CODRU"
Participation in the Summer School on Minority Rights 2024 is free. Organizers will cover all expenses for travel, accommodation, and meals.
We expect applications from representatives of national, ethnic, and linguistic minorities (Ukrainians, Gagauz, Bulgarians, Jews, Roma, Poles, Russians, Armenians, Azerbaijanis, etc.) aged 18 to 35 years.
