Youth from Basarabeasca learn to create sustainable projects at the ICPMN Leadership Academy

The youth from Basarabeasca took an important step in developing their leadership skills by participating in Module 3 of the ICPMN Leadership Academy. This module, crucial for their civic future, focused on developing project writing skills and attracting funding—key competencies for anyone looking to actively contribute to change in their community.

In this session, mentor Marina Tabarna, an expert in project management and fundraising, guided the young participants in the process of creating clear and well-structured projects. Marina emphasized the importance of effective planning and a well-managed budget as the foundation for attracting funding. Participants also learned how to formulate realistic goals and develop convincing proposals that could attract the attention of potential financial supporters.

During the session, the participants had the opportunity to apply their newly acquired knowledge through practical exercises, helping them identify funding sources and develop clear proposals for their initiatives. The module also provided an important opportunity for networking, which is essential for future projects, and exchanging ideas with other young people passionate about changing their communities.

The event concluded with a valuable exchange of ideas, giving the participants a broader perspective on the challenges facing their communities and the sustainable solutions they can offer. This experience strengthened their confidence in their ability to implement positive changes at the local level.

The ICPMN Leadership Academy is supported by the project "EU4Youth: Engaging and Empowering Youth" GIZ Moldova, funded by the European Union and the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) with the support of the German Embassy in Chișinău.
